STANDING!!

William's very first time standing on his own. What a shot - but Mom was the only one home so it was hard to get pictures while still protecting him from a hard fall.
Not too sure about this independent standing thing but definitely getting the hang of it.

And this is how you do it in pajamas!! (later on in the evening showing Daddy how good we are getting)
Big smiles for Daddy, William is so proud of himself! (day 2 of standing)

Himself being cute

Drinking by placing his hand in the glass and attempting to splash the water into his mouth - he succeeded in splashing daddy and dumping the water if nothing else.

Come look at these Vesta, they have laces to chew on and designs on the bottom!!

Look Mom, no hands!!
Oooh, look at these treads. when can I have shoes mom??!!
Helping mommy with her schoolwork. You need to reconsider this point on page 148... It needs to be more concise.
Now those are some beautiful eyes. He is going to be a heartbreaker...
Up close and Personal with William on a good afternoon
Just being as cute as he can be

A few recent pictures

Deep waist bends in the middle of the floor. The most flexible baby in the world
Coming for the camera...
A little quiet reading time for the monster. A sunny afternoon and a good book, what more could a baby ask for??

The wonderful world of strawberries - pick them up very slowly and lick them repeatedly.
Multi-tasking... Jolly jumpering, playing with linking rings and riding the dump truck all at the same time
Reading to Daddy. And just like daddy he likes to read from the back of the book first

The Great Broccoli Adventure

Now this looks like fun, thanks for sharing mom!
You really expect me to eat all of this??? What do you think I am, a rabbit??!!
Easting broccoli is an art, not a science. I cannot be rushed
Quite a tasty little treat. Now which one do I choose next?
You must pick up the little trees just so...

More Swimming

Big smiles!!
I love going swimming with Mommy
Hey Dad, Look at me. I'm a little tugboat.
Mmmm, this is yummy. Just like the water I get to drink and play with after lunch and dinner.

Swim Time

Hey, I can swim!!
I love my mommy but I am not sure about this water thing...
I love the slide, though I prefer sitting at the top to actually sliding down. The vantage point to see all the little swimmers is soo much better.
Blink Blink...
This is pretty great, mom. You pull, I float.
Fresh from the deep!! William just went under all the way and this is the amazing swimming boy when we pull him up - a few blinks and the occasional sputter but otherwise he is a fish!!
I love the ball mommy, can I keep it?

Relaxing after a hard day of visiting with family. We aren't sure which of the William's needed it more...
Great Granpda, these are your buttons. Can I play with them??
Cuddling Grandma

More pictures from Ontario

Reading a book with Aunty Laura and cousin Jayden
But the floor looks so good from here...
Reaching for the camera during a photo shoot...I can get it mom, just don't move
Playing with Far Mor but distracted by something outside - William is not used to all the commotion of the big city of Toronto...the most we usually get out our windows is a pheasant or blue jay
I'm not sure what the joke is but I don't think I understand mom...
Now is this not the smuggest little face you ever saw!!
Entertaining Great Grandpa can be hard work but I am pretty good at it. Here I am demonstrating my amazing jumping abilities.
