Christmas

Playdough is marvelous stuff!!! Mom made grape and I am having a ball with it (Pun intended)
Sporting mom's hat and my new work gloves - I am so cute fashion rules just don't apply
The infamous gingerbread cookies
My very own work gloves from cousins Barett and Jayden!

Christmas this year was a low-key event around our place. There are no 'traditional' pictures of the family by the tree or at the dinner table. As it was the three of us we had a very relaxed and enjoyable christmas without some of the trappings of bigger gatherings, and it worked out quite well. Dad even took William out for a jog in the afternoon while the turkey was being finished! DVDs of Christmas will follow to those interested but that is pretty much the only way you are going to get the pictures of the christmas morning event.

I hope no one it too disappointed but sometimes we feel sorry for William and the number of flashes he has to endure for the sake of all those across the country and making him wait on christmas to have good pictures taken was just not going to happen.
Looks cute huh?

Christmas - in reverse order

William playing with Amelia - she came to visit on Boxing day with her parents. he looks so grown up next to younger kids - he was SO good with her.
I love my remote control bus!
This is the most fun a kid can have on christmas morning!
I really like the train from the Youngs too!
Pop pop pop - Reading Dr Seuss to a penguin on christmas eve while sitting on a walrus - almost poetic when you think about it
I love this book - it has been a favourite since Chris, Jenn and Del sent it last year. Guaranteed to speed up the waiting time at the dr. too!
William was eyeing Dad's tomato sandwich to he made his own with the toast already on his plate and a few pieces of tomato mom brought to the table - pretty smart monkey!
Helping??? to put away some of the toys in the toyroom for the christmas onslaught. William got a little carried away and got in the box himself!

Vacation!!

Helping mom cook - William had a number of types of dried beans and nuts in various metal bowls and some cooking and stirring implements to help him help mom get food made
This is my waffle dad, get your own!!
Waffle munching - it isn't as early as it looks, just a cloudy day so 0730 looks a lot darker than it was
What happens when Dad helps William get dressed - the most unusual style
Making sure winnie is secure in his high chair - sometimes we have dinner guests...
Helping dad put the shelves together for his playroom
Drill right here dad!!
Lounging with dad - dad isn't that flexible though...

And more...

The elbow lean with Dad on the floor with the flyers - if dad does it, William does it!! She was a peaceful kitty sleeping in the sun until her monkey came and said "Hello Kitty!"
I love my kitty

Proof that my christmas cactus did indeed bloom at christmas time
Some days you just need some Java! Drinking right out of the coffee pot! (Don't worry, just water in there but made for a cute picture)
Laughing it up with Winnie in the basement

Sporting this season's latest look - the floppy mouse fleece hat and cord jacket - in the house of course. No need to go out side, then you can't read.

More December Cuteness

When mom went out for an hour one afternoon William convinced dad that it wasnice enough weather to swing again
He was in a bit of a hurry to get swinging!
William LOVES baking
Never a happier kid than when he is allowed to help in the kitchen
One and one is TWO!!!

Mid December

Helping mom make iron cookies! Pat Pat Pat!
I love getting in to whatever mom is making!
Playing with the packing from ABs package was more fun than anything else that day - snow everywhere!
William's new friend Wanda - she makes life a lot easier when she is a caregiver! William loves her. No separation anxiety at all when mom leaves.
The best I could do of a shot of Santa and William. William was sitting at a table colouring as the gifts were being given out at the Playgroup christmas party.
Freedom is running around with no pants and no diaper
Going out to feed the birds in cooler weather means more clothes
No where did I leave those pants!!
