Today

Today I was supermom and William and I made a frigate out of the elliptical box.
Well, William's version at least
He is happier than he looks in the first picture

Showing you his boat
Captian William in his sailor hat steering the ship - the wheel turns - mom got creative and had an engineering epiphany (we normally leave those to dad)
Driving the ship
This was the expression he wore most of the time we were working on the ship
He is trying to show you that mommy made two portholes in the side of the cabin - even brass frames - well, canning lid frames but they worked GREAT!!!

March 3

Dancing with mommy

Sleeping on top of a sleeping mommy ;)
Big goofiness
Putting on his puddle boots

March 2

Playing in the 'house' in the basement with dad
Taken from one of the side windows - Dad barely fits inside but William loves to play in there with him - even has a tap light (courtesy of GGpa)
Riding a hippo with mom
The hippo is under there somewhere
Ridem hippo!!!
One more minute until dinner
The monster about to be unleashed
Destroy, destroy, destroy!!! He is a little boy
Calling Grandma on his Elmo phone - and wearing the helicopter beanie
beanie with dad

March

Catching up a bit here are some of the pictures that we took in early March and when dad came home from the 'Winter' trip Grandma gave william a workbench for his birthday - guess who got to put it together?? Dad was at sea so William 'helped' mommy try and 'read' the instructions. What an adventure!
Sporting his new goggles - like with all glasses he prefers to wear them upside down

Build-a-bear with dad's voice sporting the Cabbage Patch sweater that his GGma made several decades ago
Playing with dad and the new toy - alphabet puzzle - that dad brought back from Florida
