Monkey time

Fair warning that there are several series of pictures that are rather similar. I just couldn't choose between them this week.

Out for a nice leisurely ride on the horse...
What was that?? did you see that Dad?
Better keep my eyes on the road ahead!! A cowboy could get knocked plum off his horse with all the activity around these parts...
In order to get the most from your teething experience a lot of finger chewing is involved - some with accessories, like the purple ring here...
Max relax after a good play in the tub.
Come closer, let me show you my new tooth!!

Reading with Dad

A snack (of rubber duck) and a book - what a nice way to spend the afternoon

Weekend antics

Goofing around... William just loves reading and his blankets so much that he needs to hug the book and blanket every once in a while... The dive is very cute - such enthusiasm
Father's Day breakfast this year was a family affair. Waffles with mixed berry compote - William was trying the berry topping here but preferred his waffles plain
Father's day Waffles are pretty good treats!
Wanna watch me change the CD? Wanna listen to a new radio station? I'm your DJ!
DJ William and his flying fingers!!
Outside exploring the front porch - one of our new favourite territories. Very excited about both the plant stand and the clothes pin attached to it - another of William's recent loves - until he gets his finger closed in the pin

Dedicated Sleeper

He slept through me coming in, calling his name and trying to wake him up by opening the blinds in his room - all the while talking to him.
Not the light!!
Mom, I was sleeping...It was a really good nap
I told you I wasn't ready to get up yet!!!

summer sunshine

Really, anything can be a teether when you have molars coming in.
This is my head! Almost everything goes on top of his head these days - thanks to mom and dad always trying to get a laugh or a smile by putting things on our heads or his head. This is a particularly popular game in the tub.
Aww mom, when are you going to stop takng pictures of every cute thing I do??
Stopping for a drink of water as we cruise around the reading room. The discovery of this window has led to a whole new perspective on the world!

Sunshine

Entranced by the helicopter - they get pretty close to our deck and not much can tear those little eyes away from a close-up helicopter.
Helping mom hang the laundry - it is nice out here with the breeze and the sunshine!!
I am ever so cute when I lay my head down while I am cruising.
Duck Feet!!!
Finger painting with dinner - our future Picasso at work
"You only think you know what I am going to do next!"

The eternal quest for the Vesta kitty... We are getting better at sneaking up on her - the proximity alarm doesn't go off anymore and scare her away. Now he can even get close enough to touch her if she has been sleeping...

One last Picture

William helping mom sweep up this morning. Such a good little helper for so many things!!

June is wet in Nova Scotia - but William is happy

Spaghetti surprise!!! This is the first pasta and sauce meal that William has enjoyed - and boy did he enjoy.
balancing act with a spoon

This is William trying to eat a spear of asparagus while watching the helicopter do waterbird outside the window. His intensity is definitely stepped up when there are helicopters around during lunch.
Proficient little standing man
Learning to walk with just the fingers.
I just loved the intense look on his face in this picture. He tries so hard to walk and balance and chase vesta and it is amazing to see him like this. He is changing every single day...
William loves helping with the dishes...
Hello Old Man, nice to meet you.

More June

I am growing some hair!! I can even comb it now - though Dad suggests a comb over to try and hide the humongous forehead that is slow in catching up
William loves the little boy in the mirror...
A different prespective on the high chair - it can also be used as a walking aid...
just one of those amazing smiles that he graces us with. Happiness is broccoli spears...
OOOOOOOhhhh. William making his oooo sound makes a very funny face in the picture.
Grapes for Breakfast - they are slippery little suckers!!
Looking for the illusive grape...

Rainy Weekend fun

Rolly Polly antics on mom and dad's bed
Rolling off the bed
Our little goofasaurus...
Makes a break for it..
And gets caught by mom...
Reading to Dad on a wet afternoon
Taking a break from play for a drink of water. Sitting in one of the kitchen chairs like a big boy - and at his size he almost looks like he fits!!
