Happy Kid

Smiling at mommy though the window. The photo didn't turn out as well as we were hoping but you should have seen the smiles on his face when mommy was outside. Almost as good as watching a puppy. Good thing we have the screens on the outside of the glass - William bangs up a storm when he gets excited.
William getting ready for his bath came out to check out how the painting was progressing and spied the new roller sitting on the credenza. Looks like a good bath toy to me!!

William always likes being in the middle of things - even when it is the middle of the living room with all the furniture and toys from two rooms pushed in around him. Dad is in the background working on the first coat of paint around the fireplace enclosure.

March Break 2

Genetics... William was given a pile of grape quarters and assembled them into piles of two. Just like mommy with her wierd eating couplets, so William will carry on the tradition. I can't wait to see what he does with Great-Grandpa's breakfast. Daddy is scared.

If you look really closely you can see William's best friend enjoying some of the bear blanket just to the left of him in the picture. Under the blanket is Pooh from christmas - which has become Vesta's favourite place to soak up some rays or just relax. He didn't realize she was there (kitty camoflage) and happily played beside her for a good 10 minutes before she lifted her head at the wrong time and kitty became the centre of his attention.
A-ha...my evil plan is coming together...

Broccoli truly is the greatest treat going. No matter what else is going on there is always room (and time) for broccoli - move over Jello, this may become the all-time best snack. Who says you have to give kids sweets!
Now how is that for a happy face!! It is hard to stay tired/mad/frustrated/exhausted when every once in a while he does something like this. And this was after he had decided to forego the nap this morning and he and mommy had run a couple of errands.
Trying to crawl takes a lot of concentration. And the tongue must stick out just so, with a little curl...
