What Happened to August??

That is what some of you must be thinking. Well, things were pretty busy around here and posting just took a back seat to everything more pressing.

Erik was on leave the first couple of weeks - and that meant staining the front porch and lots of fun with our little monkey. The end of Erik's leave overlapped with a visit from Uncle Ian and Aunt Sandy, who stayed with us for 10 days. Again, lots to do.

That left mom a week (a very short 5 days) to recover from houseguests and get things in order to head to Great Grandpa's cottage for the last week of August...what a whirlwind for a bunch of homebodies like us!! A few administrative things came up too that took up a lot of any extra posting time.

Never fear, pictures have been taken and will be up on the website sometime early in September. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
