Lemon Face

For the last week or so William has been making htis face - probably associated with teething - every once in a while. We have caught it three times so far and thought you could use a laugh!!

Happy Boy

Woooohoooo...
I like swinging...
One more round barkeep!!
Goofy grin again.
William can point and point and point and point and point to what he wants now.
Trying to climb up the desk while mom works. These knobs are GREAT!

Swinging

William got a swing for Easter. Despite the wet weather we hung the swing yesterday and William LOVES it. He wouldn't let go of the ropes when we wanted to take him in.
Dad put hooks in under the front porch so that William will be able to swing in inclement weather and in the shade during the summer. It is also a lot easier to see the comings and goings of the neighbourhood dogs when we are out front.
I do love swinging - you should have heard me giggle when mom was pushing my feet.

Lunch time with dad - working on how to use the spoon.

Easter Weekend 2

Hello Gingerbread man, where have you been all my life??
Reading to Dad before dinner. Can't let go of the knob on top of the rocking chair - it is critical to being able to read.
Now it just doesn't get better than this - He just COULD NOT get any happier than he was here. You can almost hear the laughter...
I am just so bendy...
Now this is fun!!
Happy little standing man LOVES the grill work at the end of Mom and dad's bed. It is just the right height to hang on to with lots of pieces to move around.
This is my Pooh shirt -see, it says Pooh!!

Easter Weekend

Bendy rabbit from the Fars for Easter made a good jumping companion... William says let me help you with that carrot... I love carrots...
Ride'em horsey!! This is the best fun!
Horses are yummy!!
Easter Sunday William was trying to figureout how to get his gift out of the package - then discovered the package was better than the Little People inside!
Happy boy!!! I'm off to the big leagues!!
Climbing Mount Daddy on a rainy afternoon.

Sunny day

William sporting his new shirt that Alli made for him. He can look so serious sometimes.
Our view of the ocean - hard to get a good appreciation of what you can see but I will try and get a better picture when there are some ships so that you can see the Atlantic - this was taken from the dining nook windows.

She is so far away. I need to play with the kitty.

Kitty!!

Gently petting the kitty's bum - if you try and take some fur for later she gets mad and leaves so we have to be gentle...
Just a little closer kitty, you know you want to play with me
Happy little man with his head on Vesta's tail. His latest expression of love is to throw his head on to whatever he is enamoured with - blanket, toy, Vesta, Mom or Dad
So who's tail is this? Vesta thinks it is hers but William would beg to differ.
Pure Bliss! William's kitty and his favourite companion, the sleeping blanket.
It's time for coffee!!! With William sleeping until 0630 lately we bought Dad a quieter coffee maker so that he doesn't have to be afraid of the machine making too much noise and waking the little man up early.

Happy William

Who needs a television when you can watch William!!!
This looks good...
Let me at it mom!!
Happy Birthday to me!!!
Oranges!!!!

More birthday week fun

Peas and broccoli and onion and sweet potato - what more could a kid ask for?!!
Guess what sound the sail boat makes??? Make the sound mom, make the sound!!
I am the cutest standing man you ever did see!
Doorknobs are amazing things!!! William's post-bath routine always includes a few minutes with the doorknob (the hardware, not the parents)
Feeding mom Senor Frog during bathtime
Many thanks to Uncle Ian and Aunt Sandy for the Winnie the pooh birthday cake - I wouldn't let it go for two days except to get into the bathtub!!

More Birthday

Waving hello to everyone on my birthday - I had a great wake up and it is going to be a terrific day (at this point he had still not put hte hole in dad's cornea)
Cooking onion in what is eliciting these smiles and giggles - who knew??? Well, Great Grandpa did because he eats it every day for lunch - genetics at work.

Birthday Pictures

Thanks for the workbench Great Grandpa - now I can bejust like dad!. I need safety goggles though...
And the nails make noise and blink when you hit them!!
Cheers! Let's drink a toast to my birthday with mom's water bottle!!
This train set isn't as easy as it looks - and now I have to fix everything because Dad didn't put it together the way i wanted - parents are so hard to train..
The pure joy of being allowed to play with paper - normally it is whisked out of William's range given his propensity for eating it! He bites off a piece and chews it like bubble gum
Helping to openAlli, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Jon's gift - little people accessory set for the castle he got for christmas
