Goofiest grins in the bath
Hello??
I think it is for mom.
Helping mom bake for dad's birthday
Went for a walk with Dad on his birthday and fell asleep. It hadn't been the greatest sleep and with being on antibiotics and recovering from the ear infection and cold the day was just too much for him. first time he has slept somewhere besides his crib/playpen in 8 months.
William's first dad-made toy - the whale car

Mashed potatoes are YUMMY

Cutey pie pictures

Sporting one of dad's ship hats - and looking mighty cute doing so!
Wanna cranberry?
Cranberries are the best snack
Dad helps by holding the container and I take one at a time.
After our trip to the hospital william was a little flat so much of the day was spent reading on the couch. Doggies is his favourite book lately. We might have to buy that one instead of just borrow it from the library.
Really like the doggies.
Just going for a stroll
Helping with the dishwasher

various July Pictures

William helping mommy to unload the dishwasher. He will actually take out each utensil and sometimes the dishes individually and hand them to me to put awa in the drawers and cupboards. pretty amazing guy - patient too.
This was supposed to be william signing 'all done' to the camera but it ended up being much more a combo sign and a cute shoulder shrug
Just hanging out on the radiator in mom and dad's room. Watching the world go by.William approaching the cat door.
Hello kitty, where are you???
Come out, come out wherever you are
Or else I will have to come in and get you!!This is a picture of a cat curled up in the corner of mom and dad's room on the duvet witing to be taken downstairs, with a pillow to conceal her position.
This is William discovering said hiding place and thoroughly disturbing the cat!! She vamoosed shortly thereafter.
Getting ready to go running with mom. Her shoes are a little big but they are a lot shinier than mine!

More blueberries please!!
On the trail of kitty tail!
Cruising up a storm.
Bouncing on Dad - I love bouncing.

Summer fun

Getting a drink from the hose on a warm summer day.
More water Dad!!
This is good stuff!!

The pictures below are from a very adventurous bath. He is porting the animal suction cups on his head that usually adorn the side of his tub... We put one on his head and that started the game of him putting them on and taking them off. He had a fantastic time. It was a bath full of giggles.
Me and my bath friends
the mutton on the side of his head after he put it there. Shhh, mutton is telling me a secret.
Wild eyed monkey
giggles in action
Serious business, these suction cup guys.
William waking up from a nap - note the position of his shorts - beside his shoulders. It is the first time he took off an article of clothing on his own. Thank goodness he stopped with the shorts and didn't take off the diaper too!

Antics

Look up, look way up!! Our amateur chimney sweep - good thing we only have a propane fireplace!

Do you need to blow your nose Mom? This is how you put the kleenex in the trash

Just one of those smiles that makes you feel like all is right with the world

Reading his Dr Seuss book rather intently one afternoon

And this is how you wear Dr Seuss on your head!!

The Baptism

We spent the weekend of the 8th and 9th in Sussex NB with Amelia, Moriah and Bruce. Amelia was baptised sunday morning and we were made godparents (Erik and I - William was just comic relief, he kept saying amen during some of the readings). It was a very successful weekend considering how much we packed into 2 short days. More pictures will follow when Moriah and Bruce return to Ottawa and upload their photos and share them with us. Making sure our monkey was staying out of trouble and not wrecking out hosts' home was a full time job!

Such a good girl during the service but the heat and events just wiped her out - she kept falling asleep during picture taking - pictured here with her Grandparents Creighton
The minister, Amelia and her parents and William and his parents all looking nice for church
The happy family before the baptism
