Happy Halloween!!!

On our way to the playgroup Halloween party
Our little dragon was a little overwhelmed On the run - gotta hide my dinosaur
by snack time he had lost his dragon coat
William's first game of musical chairs...

Unfortunately the 'prize' was a treat bag filled with candies... so we had a little discussion and mom felt like a heel because he didn't get to eat the pure sugar and carcinogenic preservatives and flavour enhancers... but all was made better when he got some organic animal cookies for the ride home :)

Already have tonight covered - instead of candy he gets three plastic dinosaurs!

It is really hard to be a good parent in this day and age where most kids are allowed to eat garbage. Very hard to stick to your convictions when it is everywhere - my new mission is to find a decent preschool by next fall so that I can feel safe sending him - without fear of what they might give the kids to 'snack' on.
